What is More Ruthless: Ari Gold or Jeremy Piven’s Hairline?
Most casual fans know Jeremy Piven as the fast-talking superagent Ari Gold in HBO’s Entourage. But most people don’t know that Piven was once so bald he played the character of George Costanza (referred to as ‘Michael Barth’) in a 1993 episode of Seinfeld.
Isn’t the natural trajectory of a man’s hairline supposed to be a full head of hair, followed by years of depression and anxiety as the follicles slowly fall to the wayside? Apparently not for Piven, who must be either sporting a wig or had some nifty hair plugs installed. Piven, 44, was balding at age 21 in a film called Lucas but that didn’t stop his acting career, or his hairline, for that matter.
After doing some extensive laboratory work, I’ve determined that there is a direct correlation between Piven’s success and the amount of hair on his head. He found success at a later point in his career with roles in Ellen, Very Bad Things, Rush Hour 2, Old School, Smokin’ Aces – all of which he had hair. The point in Piven’s career in which he has the most hair is his work in the current Entourage.
The only people who seem to have noticed Piven’s hairline are bloggers, as the entertainment media apparently has better things to observe and report about.
Piven has won multiple Emmy awards and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Gold. During his acceptance speech, he should have thanked the Hair Club for Men for his victory.

maxim actually did a thing on him and a few other stars who were balding and then suddenly had hair, check out old elton john pics to todays. they said something about some men have growth spurts of hair after a certain age, aka hair restoration. its not a rug but real good transplants
